Board our 15 to 25 passenger mini-coach to explore the White Pass elevation 3,292 feet all the way to the Yukon. With stops to get out and see amazing waterfalls up to 3,000 feet tall, glaciers, alpine valleys, snow-capped mountains, and huge mountain lakes. Yukoner Beyond the White Pass Plus Suspension Bridge
On our half-day tour to the Yukon border, follow in the path of the Klondike Gold Rush stampeders of 1898 as you travel up the Klondike Highway, past waterfalls and steep mountains of coastal rainforest. See views of the WP&YR railroad, Brackett Wagon Road, Pitchfork Falls and Moore Creek Bridge. As we cross the 3292 foot summit of the White Pass and the Canadian Border we enter the subarctic alpine tundra of the "Tormented” valley with its crystal blue Summit Lake. Yukon Discovery Tour
Tour begins by climbing the mountainous Klondike Highway, driving by mini-bus, north to the US/Canadian border, paralleling the 1898 Gold Rush Trail to the White Pass summit at 3292 feet. Along the way, view coastal rainforest, magnificent waterfalls, glaciers, and snow capped peaks. We make multiple stops at scenic views like Moore Creek bridge, Welcome to Alaska sign, Summit Lake and Tormented Valley. Once in Canada, we journey through spectacular scenery of dramatic lakes encircled by mile-high mountains and the Northern Boreal forest wilderness. Stunning Tutshi and Tagish Lakes, the Welcome to the Yukon sign and Bove Island viewpoints are all great photo stops. In Carcross, stand on the shores of historic Lake Bennett, see the "World’s Smallest Desert” and marvel at the gorgeous green Emerald Lake. We watch for wildlife (including bears, moose, caribou, dall sheep and mountain goats) all along our route. For lunch, we stop at Caribou Crossing where you’ll see the North’s premier educational wildlife gallery, featuring over 100 Yukon and Ice Age taxidermy animals, including the world’s largest mounted polar bear. Included are displays on Gold Rush history and Canadian Mounties. There is a Yukon gift shop for souvenirs. Lunch is delicious BBQ chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, homemade bun, coffee or tea, and yummy donuts. (Vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option of lentil curry and rice is available. Lunch orders are taken at departure time). You’ll also visit the sled dog camp during our time there, where you can interact with the husky dogs and puppies. All guests will be able to view and photograph the puppies, either napping or playing in their pen, however one-on-one interaction time with them is not guaranteed. Residing at the puppy area are also two adorable Pomskies (a fluffy mix of husky and pomeranian). They will greet groups and be available for photos. Also onsite is a Petting Farm with horses, ponies, rabbits, donkeys, chickens, alpacas and goats to interact with and feed. One thing that makes Hopscotch unique is that she is foreign built (in France), however she has Jones Act Waivers to operate in the waters of Washington State and Alaska. She is a USCG documented vessel, ported out of Skagway, Alaska, and can take up to 6 guests at one time along with crew. Hopscotch is rated as an Ocean Going Vessel (she has crossed the Atlantic) and we take her upkeep and maintenance extremely seriously. We operate Hopscotch in remote areas, and safety is our top priority. One unique thing about your Hopscotch crew is that they all have their US Coast Guard Captains License. As required by the Coast Guard, they are also all trained in CPR/First Aid, and participate in a Random Drug Testing Program. Custom 7 Hour Emerald Lake Tour
Enjoy your local guide and private vehicle, as you follow the same path that the 1898 Gold Seekers took, from Skagway to the Yukon. You'll view tumbling waterfalls, glaciers, sparkling lakes, rushing rivers, mountain alpine, and forest scenery while listening to historical and present-day stories. Often, you'll see wildlife, which could include bears, moose, caribou, goats, and sheep along this 70-mile stretch of the Klondike Hwy. Stop a dozen times to take photos and/or explore. Take a group photo at the Welcome to Alaska sign. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Carcross or choose a picnic. Turn around at gorgeous Emerald Lake, the most photographed lake in the Yukon! You'll have time to choose a tour option on the day of your tour if you like. Your guide will let you know your options on the day of your tour, or you may choose ahead of time when you reserve this tour. Emerald Lake + Tushi Dog mushing camp
This tour combines the ever popular Emerald Lake tour with a visit to Michelle Phillips and Ed Hopkins Tutshi Sled Dog Mushing Camp, where you’ll meet Michelle and her husband Ed, and their dogs. Michelle and Ed are veteran Iditarod and Yukon Quest mushers, and summer camp is an essential part of training for the dogs, keeping them fit and socialized. Pet the sled dog puppies and/or enjoy a 1.3 mile dog cart ride on a wilderness trail. Mushers shares their stories of life on the trail during a 10-minute talk after your ride. A visit to Michelle Phillip’s “Tutshi Dog Mushing Camp”, where you’ll meet Michelle and her husband Ed, and their dogs. Michelle races in the Iditarod each spring, mushing 16 of her 60 dogs from Anchorage to Nome in the famous 1,000-mile race. 2018 will be her 12th year! Pet her sled dog puppies (included in the tour cost) and/or enjoy a 15-minute dog cart ride on a wilderness trail, (Prepay for cart rides at the time of booking for $35/Adult and $25/Child). She shares her stories of life on the trail during a 10-minute talk after your ride. If visiting Emerald Lake is a priority for you on your tour, let your guide know, so they can time it out right! If Petting the Pups and a Dog Cart Ride is your priority, and you want less driving time, then you'll turn around at the Yukon Sign, making yours a five-hour tour. You pick! Brave the Bridge and Emerald Lake Tour
In our "Brave the Bridge Tour", a variation of the Emerald Lake Tour, your group will visit and enjoy the Yukon Suspension Bridge in Canada at your own pace during your private tour. You will have 30-60 minutes to enjoy the historic Klondike Gold Rush displays, cross the bridge over the rushing, icy waters of the glacial Tutshi River, and grab a snack or hot drink at the cafe. Kids can participate in a free scavenger hunt at the bridge. On this tour, you may have time for one more additional activity. You can choose from, - a fun and a free scavenger hunt for the kiddos - a gold panning experience ( $18 per person ) - a stop at Michelle Phillip's dog mushing camp ( $25 admission for the whole group ). White Pass Summit & Yukon Suspension Bridge

Start your adventure by traveling up the Klondike Highway while you take in the wildlife, waterfalls, glacier-covered mountains & views of the White Pass Railroad. Once into Canada (Province of British Columbia aka B.C.) you'll pass through the subarctic alpine tundra of the Tormented Valley, with views of Summit Lake. You'll continue through B.C. where you'll stop at Canada Customs (passports and vaccine cards are required) at Fraser B.C and the Yukon Territory. This 200-foot-long bridge traverses the Tutshi River where you'll be able to spot a number of animals in their natural habitat. The roaring rapids below provide an amazing backdrop for photos & memories while on your Alaskan vacation. The Outdoor Interpretive Museum provides maps & guides to give you a better understanding of the region between Skagway & Whitehorse, with information on the First Nations & the stories of the Gold Rush as this part of the continent was settled.

Tormented Valley and Suspension Bridge Tour
At a relaxed pace, this tour combines all the best scenery with limited time on the bus. We will pick up at the central meeting point then take the Scenic Klondike Highway up our beautiful Summit pass of 3292'. On the way to the top, you will see beautiful rainforests, glacially carved valleys, and waterfalls! Once we reach the top will we then enter into what is known as the Tormented Valley! A weather-worn, sub-arctic, beauty of a valley with dwarfed trees and stunning rock formations. We will take a couple of stops along this stunning area. Then we will be crossing Canadian Customs to officially enter the country and continue this incredible drive through Boreal Forest. After the Scenic drive, we will arrive at the Suspension Bridge. While there we will have time to enjoy the outdoor walking museum, the excitement of the rushing water below the suspension bridge, have some time to shop, and have some Canadian snacks. Then we will drive on the same beautiful route to return to Skagway and at the end of the tour you will be dropped off in town.

Step into the Yukon and Sled Dog Tour
Once everyone has been picked up at the central meeting point, we will tour through the historic district in Skagway. Then we will make our way out of town up the summit pass. At the top of the summit, we will reach British Columbia, Canada. Then we will tour through a weather-worn dwarfed forest called the Tormented Valley. Here we will take in the scenery and enjoy this strange, but beautiful landscape. After the Tormented Valley, we will come to Boreal Forest and the lakes region of the tour. Through these two regions, we can stop, take pictures, and take in the changing scenery as we drive deeper into Canada. Next, we will arrive at the dog Mushing Camp where Michelle Phillips and her professional racing crew will tell us all about the ins and outs of mushing on the trail, training in the off-season, and what life is like for a professional musher. Here we can also take a summer dog mushing training ride, which is educational, fun, and actually how these canine athletes train. From here we will continue to the border of British Columbia and the Yukon and touch into a Canadian Territory that many never see. After this point, we will travel back on the same beautiful highway and return to Skagway where you can be dropped off in town.

This incredible scenic drive is always an option even when many things are closed down or not yet open for the season. It is my pleasure to offer a beautiful tour at the extremes of the season. The early spring will likely have snow in sections of this drive and the late season will have gorgeous fall colors! Once we have picked everyone up from our central meeting point, we will tour through the historic district in Skagway. Then we will make our way out of town up the summit pass. Yukon Extended Summit Drive Tour
At the dock in Skagway, you'll meet up with your tour guide, and be escorted to our 15-passenger van. Your excursion will begin with a drive through historic downtown Skagway which is a part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. You’ll learn about the town’s gold rush history and enjoy stories about the stampeders who passed through town in hopes of striking it rich in the Yukon. From town we’ll head up to the town overlook to get a different perspective on present-day Skagway. Once you’ve had a chance to take photos your tour will continue north up the Klondike Highway toward the summit of the White Pass. On the way, we will pass through the lush rainforest and drive by multiple waterfalls. There are many photo opportunities of beautiful alpine lakes, hanging glaciers, and towering snow-capped peaks on this excursion. At the summit, you’ll be able to get out and stretch your legs and take in the dramatic alpine landscape. Our ride then continues through Canadian customs into British Columbia. We’ll make multiple tours stops throughout the ride ensuring ample photo opportunities including the “Yukon Territory” sign. After about an hour on the road, we’ll reach Carcross, Yukon on the banks of Lake Bennett, and a highlight of the tour. Here you’ll have free time to explore the small local shops and enjoy a great view of the lake made famous by the Klondike Gold Rush. From Carcross, we’ll start our journey back south toward Skagway. We’ll make a stop at the “Welcome to Alaska” sign for photos and then return through the U.S. Border station on our way back to Skagway. *Passports required for this tour * Timings: (~15 min) – Driving town tour of Skagway and visit to Skagway overlook. (~10 min) – Photo opportunities at the Skagway overlook (10 minutes). (~35 min) – Tour up the Klondike Highway to White Pass summit and the “Welcome to Alaska” sign (5-10 minutes at the sign). (~2 hours) – Drive to Carcross, Yukon stopping along the way for photo opportunities at Tutshi Lake, the “Welcome to the Yukon” sign, and the Bove Island overlook – Stops vary depending on group goals and changing photo opportunities as they present themselves. (~30 min) – Free time in Carcross, Yukon, and Lake Bennett (20-30 minutes). (~1.5 hours) – Drive back to Skagway stopping along the way for photo opportunities

Start in town or at your ship on this 4.5 hour adventure. Board a passenger mini coach to explore the White Pass (elevation 3292 feet) all the way to the Yukon. With stops to get out and see amazing Waterfalls up to 3000 feet tall, Azure Glaciers, Alpine Valleys, Snow Capped Mountains and huge Mountain Lakes. Your Guide will tell you gold rush stories, lots of history, and information about the plants and animals in this wild and beautiful land. Together we venture up the Yukon highway beyond the historic White Pass Route. Look in awe at the landscape that contains the precipitous cliffs, deep valleys, majestic granite mountains and dangerously deep valleys where wild bears and other wildlife live. Admission to the Yukon Suspension Bridge includes full access to the Bridge - including the exhibits, the cafe, the gift shop and the restroom facilities.
