Voyij

Voyij helps you plan your Alaskan vacation with personal recommendations and insight.

In 2014, sister and brother team, Olivia and Gregory Klupar, moved back to Alaska to found what is today known as Voyij.

Voyij is a cruise and travel app that helps you plan your day-to-day activities in Alaska: what to do, what to eat, and where to shop all from trusted local businesses.

"We grew up here and have a really good sense of Alaska, the activities that make visiting special," says Olivia. "Our goal is to help travelers fall in love with Alaska and to see our home as we do, as locals."

Born and raised in Skagway (read about the day Olivia was born), Olivia and Greg grew up in tourism and hospitality, working in the family businesses: a B&B, restaurant, art gallery, and tour company. Over the years, the two came to see a big gap in how travelers planned their trips and how local owners, like their family, got the word out about their businesses.

"Even today,” says Olivia, "it can be hard to find and buy from local businesses. Many business owners are owner-operators and don't have time to keep up with the changing tech scene."

The result is Voyij, the first digital platform that connects travelers to the best of Alaska and with the power to book now – including from small businesses who offer personal and unique experiences you just can’t find anywhere else.

"Our selection of activities and shopping items is exceptional; our local relationships allow us to represent products for sale you just can't find anywhere else online," says Olivia.

With a lifetime of experience in Alaska and travel, Olivia and Greg bring to you Voyij, a curated list of experiences you can book now and a planning tool that stores your activities and purchases all in one place, even on the go.

We hope you enjoy your next Alaskan adventure!

Before business school, she worked in NYC at Paul Weiss LLP and Citigroup in their private equity and M&A legal practices. At Duke, Olivia works in the venture capital space as a Duke Angel Network associate and a .406 Ventures fellow.
