Juneau Whale Watching and Mendenhall Glacier Combo Tour
This is an enthralling opportunity to witness two jewels in Juneau - the graceful elegance of humpback whales and the serene beauty of the Mendenhall Glacier. Our fleet of whale watching boats and glacier shuttles offer a seamless combination of two of Juneau’s favorite activities and our most popular tour. Upon check in, you will either be escorted to one of our shuttles for a narrated 25-minute drive to the glacier or to the boat harbor for whale watching. Mendenhall is the world’s only drive up glacier. You can choose to hike to Nugget Falls (1.5 hours round trip), take the Photo Point Trail (40 minutes round trip), look for wildlife along the Steep Creek trail, or stroll up the easy walk to the Visitor Center. During your time on the water, you will be accompanied by a naturalist who explains the feeding habits of these magnificent creatures and identifies the many other kinds of wildlife that share these waters. Our whale watching boats are custom made to enhance your experience – a warm heated cabin with large viewing windows, and two decks to hurry to when the captain slows after spotting the whales. Glacier Point Wilderness Safari
This wilderness expedition to the spectacular Davidson Glacier immerses you in the abundant natural beauty of Alaska, leading you through fjords, rain forests, vibrant wildflowers, and towering mountains. Kick off the tour with a sublime cruise down the Lynn Canal, followed by a mellow hike to your canoe that will bring you face-to-face with the stunning Davidson Glacier. On this spellbinding wilderness expedition, you will travel through fjords and rainforests viewing some of the most spectacular Alaskan scenery in Southeast. Your adventure begins aboard one of our boats custom-designed to provide an intimate viewing experience. During your 75-minute journey through North America’s deepest fjord, keep a lookout for whales, seals, and cascading waterfalls while your Naturalist guide tells you more about the area you are traveling through. Upon arrival at the remote Glacier Point beach, you will take a short, adventurous drive in a school bus across the forested glacial moraines to our base camp where you will gear up in rubber boots and a life jacket. After a ¼ mile walk, the forest opens to reveal a breathtaking view of the Davidson Glacier and the pristine lake below. Here you will board a 31-foot voyager canoe for a trip around the lake to view the glacier and enjoy the incredible Alaskan wilderness while your guide shares their extensive knowledge of the area. Conditions permitting, you’ll make a stop on the delta to get up close and personal with the glacier. This is an optional 1/2 to 1-mile hike over a sand and pebble beach. After the walk on the delta, hop back in the canoe to begin your return trip. After arriving back at the base camp, enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach before your cruise back to town on the custom-designed wildlife-viewing boat. Glacier & Wildlife Discovery Tour
Experience the highlights of the Turnagain Arm! This day tour departs Anchorage for the scenic drive south along the edge of the Turnagain Arm on the Seward Parkway. This road is considered to be America’s most beautiful and scenic road, crossing mountain passes and majestic valleys. Along the way, we will try to spot moose, caribou, eagles, and other wildlife. On our way towards Portage Glacier, we will make a couple of stops for photo opportunities along the Turnagain Arm. We will stop at Portage Glacier see as living glaciers continue to carve the landscape and shape life on the Chugach National Forest. Although Portage Glacier is no longer visible from the Visitor Center, due to its retreat, the face of the glacier is still partially in Portage Lake. Find out why Portage Glacier is one of Alaska's most popular attractions. Visit the sheer, awesome face of a mighty Alaska glacier located just an hour from Anchorage. Cruising across Portage Lake on the MV Ptarmigan, you'll stand just 300 yards from a relic of the Ice Age and watch for fractures of ice break off the glacier and crash into the water below Afterward, we will travel to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center opened to the public in 1993. It is located on 200 acres at the southern edge of Turnagain Arm and the entrance to Portage Valley. The center’s mission is to provide care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife and to provide wildlife education and awareness. Animals that are unable to be released or survive in the wild are given refuge in the center's spacious habitats. Here people can safely get close, observe and photograph some of Alaska's largest land animals, including moose, bison, elk, deer, caribou, bears muskox, wolves, small mammals, and birds of prey. During spring and summer, visitors can often witness the rehabilitation of orphaned baby animals of various species. After an informative visit through the Conservation Center with the largest of Alaska's wild animals, your tour will continue on towards Anchorage. Lunch* can be purchased from one of the food vendors at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Later, we will ascend the Chugach Mountains for amazing and panoramic views of the Turnagain Arm and beyond! Along the way, stop at the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge, Beluga Point, and Bird Point for photo ops of the Turnagain Arm, a narrow waterway that is part of the Cook Inlet and the Gulf of Alaska. Keep an eye out for native wildlife such as caribou, moose, and eagles that live in the Chugach National Forest. Continue to the US Forest Service visitor center near Portage Glacier. The glacier is no longer visible from the visitor center due to its retreat, however, your cruise across Portage Lake takes you within 300 yards (100 meters) of the glacier, where you can snap photos and watch for chunks of ice crashing into the water. Once you have seen the glacier, drive to the nearby Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a large nature reserve situated at the entrance to Portage Valley. The center rehabilitates injured and orphaned wild animals, including some of Alaska's largest land animals such as elk, moose, deer, caribou, bison, bears, musk ox, and birds of prey. This 6 hour journey through Prince William Sound will feature a visit to the Columbia Glacier area where you have a chance to view history in the making as Columbia Glacier retreats back into the Chugach Mountains. In addition to the amazing ice in Columbia Bay, you will see a variety of wildlife and have the opportunity to learn about the mining, oil shipping, earthquake, and fishing history of the area. 6.5 Hour Kenai Fjords National Park Wildlife & Glacier Tour
We will head out into Resurrection Bay and venture into Kenai Fjords National Park viewing many species of wildlife as we travel toward one of Kenai Fjords most active and impressive tidewater glaciers. Here we will watch and listen to the powerful sights and sounds of the glacier. Most likely we will see ice breaking off (calving) and crashing into the ocean. It truly is a magnificent sight! Once we’ve spent some quality time at the glacier, we’ll venture out to do some more wildlife viewing while taking in some of nature’s most spectacular scenery. Depending on weather and wildlife sightings, we may visit the Chiswell Islands (a National Wildlife refuge and Bird sanctuary) and/or Cape Resurrection (one of the largest black-legged kittiwake rookeries in Alaska). Everyday is a different adventure and experience! The power of Mother Nature does not disappoint. Kenai Fjords is one of the best areas for whales and wildlife viewing and offers the opportunity to see a variety of different species. Our most common sightings include Humpback Whales, Sea Otters, Steller Sea Lions, Puffins, Dall’s Porpoise, Mountain Goats, Harbor Seals, Orca Whales (Killer whales) and a large variety of bird species. Glacier Landing By Helicopter
We will fly east away from Seward and view Godwin glacier from above. After we get a good look at this massive valley glacier we will head south to the adjacent valley where we will fly near 3 other massive glaciers. After we explore the area some looking for bears and goats we will land at the base of a massive valley glacier. We will get out for a little bit to explore and take some incredible photographs.
30-Minute Glacier Tour
Our most popular tour begins south over Resurrection Bay’s coast where you may see a variety of Alaskan Sea Life. We will explore valleys filled with enormous waterfalls and search for bears & goats. Entering Bear Glacier Lagoon you will view hundreds of icebergs from your seat prior to heading up the Harding Icefield. We will continue behind the Kenai Mountains into Paradise Valley and travel past Exit Glacier on our way back to town.
15-Minute Discovery Flight
We will fly east away from Seward and view Godwin Glacier from above. After we get a good look at this massive valley glacier we will head south to the adjacent valley where we will fly near 3 other massive glaciers. We explore the area looking for bears, goats, and moose while viewing massive glaciers and unique water features. The loop will end with a landing back at Seward Airport.

This 1-hour tour covers a large wilderness area in and around Kenai Fjords National Park. We will see a variety of tidewater, valley, and hanging glaciers wile exploring the Harding Icefield. There is an excellent chance we will see goats, moose, and possible bear during the flight. Enormous river valleys, icebergs, waterfall, old goldmine claims, and snow-covered mountain peaks are all in the 1 hour experience.

Moments after departing the heli-base, you will enjoy a breathtaking view only seen by few. Your flight takes you over ice spires, deep blue crevasses, and meltwater pools. After arriving at the heliport, you will be outfitted in glacier boots and given a safety briefing by our friendly tour attendants. Your pilot will choose two different glacier landings among the 36 named glaciers stretched across 1,500 square miles of the Juneau Icefield; a few landing possibilities include the Herbert, Taku, Norris, Gilkey, Hole in the Wall or the famous Mendenhall Glacier. Moments after departing the heli-base, you will enjoy a breathtaking view only seen by few. Your flight takes you over ice spires, deep blue crevasses, and meltwater pools. With approximately 50 minutes of helicopter time you will have plenty of opportunities to take in views of steep alpine ridges, lush rainforest, and the incredible glaciers below. For an up-close opportunity to appreciate this ancient landscape, your pilot will land in two different locations, where you will continue the tour on foot for approximately 15 minutes at each location. Meares Glacier Excursion
This 8.5 hour excursion is ideal for the travelers who are looking to discover all of what Prince William Sound has to offer – amazing glaciers and exciting wildlife. Cruise the majestic waters of Prince William Sound from Valdez to Meares Glacier. In route our captains will travel the shorelines looking for the animals that call the Sound home. This tour has the time to travel the locations where we typically spot sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, Humpback or Orca Whales, porpoise, bald eagles, puffins, cormorants and more. On board our captains will share with you stories of the Sound including early exploration, gold and copper mining, oil shipping, commercial fishing and the 1964 Earthquake. On board a lunch and an afternoon soup snack is served.

Glacier Landing and Mountain Viewing Tour
Nothing says Alaska quite like glaciers! Come experience the wonder of nature on our 30 minute glacier landing scenic flight and landing. You will travel through a spellbinding glacier filled valley on the way to your landing where you will have the opportunity to get out at the toe of the glacier, take pictures, and touch glacier ice! Your tour begins in our office where we will get you properly outfitted for your excursion. We have boots, rain jackets, and even gloves for you to borrow. After you are geared up, it’s time to talk about safety! We pride ourselves on our excellent safety record – and were featured by the Alaskan Division of OSHA for our attentiveness to detail. All our passengers learn about how to safely enter and exit our helicopters as well as the key safety features on board. We primarily fly Robinson 44 helicopters which have room for three passengers as well as a small backpack or handbag. This means that everyone gets a window seat! If you are part of a larger group, don’t worry! We have multiple helicopters on site and are experts at working with large families and tour groups. We often take large families on this excursion because it is a great opportunity for family photos and to create that one-of-a-kind Alaskan holiday card. Then, it’s time for take off. If you’ve never flown in a helicopter, you will be amazed by the smoothness of the ride. Helicopters are far more comfortable than planes and our pilots have pinpoint precision as to where they can fly. Taking off from the airport, you will fly over a beautiful braided river towards Godwin Glacier. As you fly over the bay look for otters and whales. Sometimes, we will see bears and moose in this area. Godwin glacier will astound you — but that’s not where our journey ends. You’ll get to see the toe of Godwin Glacier before we turn into a mountain valley where you will fly by 3 glaciers: Porcupine Glacier, Snake-Tongue Glacier, and Hawk’s Glacier. This beautiful valley is a great place for family photos. The helicopter will land near the base of one of these three glaciers based on weather, group size, and your preference. When the helicopter lands, our pilots or guides will help snap some photos of you as explore the toe. Pose in front of glacier ice or make a snowball and enjoy the scenic vistas in front of you.
