Description
A Bracelet with a Story to Tell™
Alaska Inspiration: We were asked by a client if we’d create a Log Cabin bracelet, and we took on the challenge!
Did you know yours truly lived in a log cabin when we lived in Seward? Our only source of heat was a woodstove.
If we could have brought that log cabin with us when we moved to valley, we would have! We loved every minute of it!
Log cabins are nothing new to Alaska.
The town of Circle, f/k/a, Circle City, used to be filled with log cabins, around 400 of them!
Circle City was part of the Gold Rush era in Alaska.
*
Sadly, most of those log homes have been devoured by the Yukon River or simply collapsed over time.
Fast-forward to today, and Alaskans still love their log cabins. Whether it be a palatial home or a small cabin, you’re sure to find them here.
Alaskan Interpretation: Because there are so many options when it comes to actually living in a log cabin, we decided to go with the classic round bead and a white button bone bead to represent the chinking.
We’re offering the Log Cabin bracelet in both a dark brown wood bead and a light brown Woodlace Stone bead.
Have you ever lived in a true log cabin?
This is a stretch bracelet to fit most wrists or ankles. Need a special size? We can customize it just for you.
