Description
The Utqiagvik Inspiration: The most northern city in the United States, Utqiagvik (formerly known as Barrow) is captured here in our Utqiagvik Bracelet. Utqiagvik has been an active location for over 1500 years. As oil was being developed at the nearby Point Barrow and a post office was established in 1901, the entire general area became known as Barrow - much easier for the non-native Alaskans to pronounce. So, Utqiagvik is a true blending of longstanding native culture with the newer western culture. To represent this in the bracelet, a joined leather knot represents this unionized culture.
Utqiagvik Bracelet is composed of natural woven knotted leather with stainless steel accent beads and buckle available in Black or Brown. This bracelet is a fixed size so please make sure to choose your correct wrist size. As always, custom sizes are available - just drop us a note.

4 Hour Chulitna River Float Trip
Rafting through the pristine wildlands of Denali State Park (and the borderlands of Denali National Park), you will see vistas and magnificent scenery most folks just read about or experience via magazines. The raft launch is at mile 133 of the Parks Highway. Your trip will begin here or in Talkeetna, depending upon where you are staying. We provide complimentary transportation from Talkeetna. At the river’s edge, you will participate in a brief safety lecture and demonstration before launching and floating the nineteen miles of the glacial-fed Chulitna back to Talkeetna. Almost throughout the entire length of the trip, a stunning view of Mt. McKinley (20,320′) and the entire Alaska Range provide a spectacular backdrop. This remote portion of the Chulitna River is a prime Bald Eagle, bear, salmon, and moose habitat. On clear days, the view is unparalleled for photo opportunities. For a small additional fee, we even have a professional photographer available to take pictures of you, your raft & guide – with this magnificent vista in the background.
