1800's Trade Bead earrings on hammered Sterling silver hand made ear wires. I was asked by the Alaska Museum in Juneau to make some trade beads earrings and it was hard to find a way to showcase the trade beads to see their design and aged hand made nature. Then I started hammering and stamping and mixing materials and I really like how the slice of shell and hammered copper or silver makes a nice little back ground for the trade beads secured right in the center.

Each pair is made to order, it may take a 1-3 days before I can get them in the mail to you. Please allow for natural variance in the stamping of the metal back ground and also allow for natural variance in the trade beads exact shape. I always work hard to match two beads for a pair of earrings but may be a tiny bit different from the photo.

The earrings will be the trade bead colors you see in this picture. I like to mix metals so that you can wear the jewelry with lots of different clothing and other jewelry.

Please refer to the photo with a ruler to indicate how long these earrings will be. Usually around 1 3/4" long.
