Our maneuverable, soft riding, stable 30’ ACB will glide you through nearby hidden coves, secluded beaches, pristine inlets, salmon spawning streams, and intricate islands of the Tongass National Rainforest.
Relax in a warm, comfortable cabin or enjoy the mist of the rainforest from the deck as your captain delights you in the natural beauty, history, and culture of our island. Admire the stunning views and local marine and coastal wildlife that populate our waters.

About Us
Alaska Hummer Adventures is an independent, family-owned and operated company that has been guiding tourists off the beaten path in style and comfort through the temperate rainforest of Southeast Alaska since 2004.
The founders identified the need for a more personalized, custom touring option based on the individual needs of small groups. Their own travel experiences as a family of five with young children inspired them to create this private, custom, affordable adventure service they call "Touring in Rugged Luxury.”
Their vision came to fruition as the company began operations in 2004 with one Hummer H2, and continued expansion with a fleet of five Hummers. In 2015, they took this concept to the water adding "hummer of the sea” adventures including Expedition Black Bear, Saltwater Expedition, and Misty Fjords Expedition. Alaska Hummer Adventures is proud to be an innovator in bringing the true Alaskan lifestyle to so many of our guests worldwide.

Highlights and attractions are sure to please the history buff, native arts & culture enthusiast, outdoor adventurer, and nature lover. Expedition Black Bear Traitor's Cove
Come experience bear-watching in Ketchikan, Alaska! In mid-summer and early fall when the salmon arrive to spawn, Margaret Creek, in Traitor’s Cove, is host to a high concentration of black bears. Begin your Alaska bear adventure from Ketchikan Cruise Ship Dock, Berth 3. Traitor’s Cove is located 26 miles north of Ketchikan and approximately 60-70 minutes (one way) by boat. Your Six-Pack licensed captain guides you on a saltwater safari through the Tongass Narrows, Clover Passage, and temperate rainforest to Traitor’s Cove navigating the vessel on a path of scenic sanctuaries, stunning bays, and inlets, and past a majestic lighthouse seeking marine and coastal wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. Quite often you will be able to observe the captivating behavior of whales breaching and tail-slapping, revere bear trails and salmon streams, and marvel at bald eagles feasting on salmon leftovers from the bears foraging. Ketchikan Crabbing, Whales & Wildlife Excursion
We start off the tour with a nice trip over the whale watching grounds on a 12 mile run to the crabbing location. From there we put your names on the crab pot buoys, bait the pots and toss them over. Huge Dungeness crab, rock crab, and even Puget Sound king/Box crab, starfish and other oddities are hauled up in our crab traps. This is a bottom fish excursion where you will be fishing at depths of 100-300 feet for Rockfish and Cod. Paddle with knowledgeable tour guides! Duration 4 hours About Paddle with knowledgeable guides just outside of Haines, Alaska along the **longest and deepest Fjord in North America**. Experience beautiful views and enjoy opportunities to see marine wildlife from your tandem kayak. Overview Upon arrival to Haines you will be greeted by your professional kayak guide for the ocean kayak trip of a lifetime. Your 2 person kayaks will be set up on the beach & will be a short 5-minute walk from the ferry pier. We’ll choose from a variety of beautiful ocean paddles depending on sea conditions and weather. Your tour guides will outfit you with a PFD (personal flotation device), spray skirt & paddles. After a safety briefing and equipment introduction/fitting, you are off and paddling.
