What we'll do
Rafting Resurrection River: An Immersive Adventure Through the Wilderness of Alaska
Join us for an immersive adventure through the pristine wilderness of Alaska on our Rafting Resurrection River tour. With a friendly and experienced guide, small group sizes, and thrilling rapids ranging from Class I to Class III, you’ll have the opportunity to witness breathtaking scenery, spot wildlife, and create unforgettable memories. Our tour offers access to areas that are completely inaccessible by car or foot, providing a unique and unparalleled experience of the Resurrection River. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this family-friendly tour is the perfect way to connect with nature and experience the beauty of Alaska.
Our experienced rafting guides take guests rafting down the Resurrection River for a thrilling 7 to 8-mile rafting adventure! KBA specializes in rafting glacial rivers, and the Resurrection River offers amazing sightseeing, and challenges to those seeking thrills.
This is an interactive, team adventure that involves everyone paddling the raft with precise direction from your guide. Everyone will participate as it takes the whole raft team to maneuver the raft down the river.
Your adventure begins with a courtesy pickup in Seward, and then a short drive to the river put-in. Prior to getting in the raft, your guide will conduct an important safety briefing. Once everyone is in the raft, your guide will run you through a series of instructional paddle strokes, commands, and maneuvers.
Once everyone is ready, including your guide, you will begin your rafting adventure down the swift currents of the Resurrection River.
Every trip is different as the river is constantly changing through this dynamic landscape. The river is surrounded by towering mountains on both sides which showcases the gorgeous nature of the area’s diverse environment.
After floating the river for about 7 to 8 miles, you will stop at our designated take-out. After some high-fives, and laughs you’ll be transported back to Seward.

Payments and deposits to Kenai Backcountry Adventures, LLC are bound by all terms, conditions, and policies outlined herein.
Cancellation requests, sent from the same email used for booking, are required.
No-shows, late arrivals, or unused trip portions are non-refundable and can’t be applied to other trips.
Participants are responsible for expenses incurred in trip preparation, regardless of tour alterations or cancellations.
We reserve the right to modify trip details due to various factors, including weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that our policies have no exceptions, including circumstances such as weather, emergencies, or events beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation and interruption coverage, especially for tours involving aircraft, where travel insurance is mandatory.
