After a quick safety briefing and tutorial by your professional guide, head out into the wilderness in one of the most serene places to hike. The Seward wilderness offers breathtaking landscapes and an array of wildlife. But don’t let all this serenity fool you… Want to see an amazing view or two? Tuck into a secluded forest for a quick hike? The choice is yours. With 2 or 4 hours and a fun, knowledgeable guide to take you directly to the best local spots and hidden gems, you simply can’t go wrong with this best-selling hiking tour of Seward.

* What to Bring
- Bring snacks, and a water bottle (water can be filled at our office/vehicle)
- Bring a small daypack for your personal items during the tour. Rental daypacks are available at checkout.
- Sturdy hiking boots or shoes
- Waterproof rain jacket – rain pants highly recommended
- Dress for current weather conditions
- Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any personal items
- Cash or Venmo for guide gratuities (recommended)

* Important Notes
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and get set up
- There are no bathrooms in the backcountry, though facilities are available before and after your tour
- You must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to walk on uneven terrain
- Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult

Cancellation Policy

Payments and deposits to Kenai Backcountry Adventures, LLC are bound by all terms, conditions, and policies outlined herein.

Cancellation requests, sent from the same email used for booking, are required.
No-shows, late arrivals, or unused trip portions are non-refundable and can’t be applied to other trips.
Participants are responsible for expenses incurred in trip preparation, regardless of tour alterations or cancellations.
We reserve the right to modify trip details due to various factors, including weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that our policies have no exceptions, including circumstances such as weather, emergencies, or events beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation and interruption coverage, especially for tours involving aircraft, where travel insurance is mandatory.
