One spring day in Alaska as the snow melted on the alpine tundra, a ground squirrel called Sik-Sik woke up from her long hibernation. After sleeping for nine months, she was ready for summer.
Spring turned to summer, the world turned green, and the mountains bloomed. With only a few months to enjoy before she went back to sleep again, Sik-Sik would be busy.
