About the Artist: Tresham Gregg
Tresham Gregg is a rare and unique multi-medium mystic or fantasy artist who works in a number of mediums including woodcarving, silk screen printing, painting, metal sculpture, talismanic jewelry, and puppet making and improv. All of his work has a mystic bend to it, as it reflects his interest in supernatural realms and ancient mythology. Tresham captures the unseen spirit of the land through his unique artistic stylization.
Tresham started off carving when he was a young teenager growing up in Fort Seward, Haines, Alaska as a member of a Boy Scout Troop learning Native art and culture, creating regalia, and performing masked dance theater shows of Native Legends - making the connection between the wild animals of the land, sea, and sky and the spirit realm where animals take on human characteristics with a supernatural perspective. This experience inherently became part of who he is as an artist.
Tresham likes to reveal and animate natural phenomenon as spirit forces, like Northern Lights being Eagles or Ravens or Aurora Dancers. He gets there through impressionist treatments in various mediums; somewhat abstracting, somewhat stylized, somewhat fantasy treatments of form and flow. Dance is the basic element in his work as it is a connection to a subconscious guiding hand. His spiritual philosophy is a mixture of Northwest Coast Native spiritual thinking and Hindu Mythology.
Tresham is also an Artistic Adventurer, having traveled to various places in the world to explore the arts of different cultures and to do unique artistic involvements with local peoples. A variety of mystic art techniques allow for a web of interconnected styles that tantalize the eyes and charm the inner child.
Enchant the senses through the stunning transformational art of Tresham Gregg. Explore the mystique of Alaska through the mystic quality of Tresham's art.

4 Hour Chulitna River Float Trip
Rafting through the pristine wildlands of Denali State Park (and the borderlands of Denali National Park), you will see vistas and magnificent scenery most folks just read about or experience via magazines. The raft launch is at mile 133 of the Parks Highway. Your trip will begin here or in Talkeetna, depending upon where you are staying. We provide complimentary transportation from Talkeetna. At the river’s edge, you will participate in a brief safety lecture and demonstration before launching and floating the nineteen miles of the glacial-fed Chulitna back to Talkeetna. Almost throughout the entire length of the trip, a stunning view of Mt. McKinley (20,320′) and the entire Alaska Range provide a spectacular backdrop. This remote portion of the Chulitna River is a prime Bald Eagle, bear, salmon, and moose habitat. On clear days, the view is unparalleled for photo opportunities. For a small additional fee, we even have a professional photographer available to take pictures of you, your raft & guide – with this magnificent vista in the background.

Pack Creek Brown Bear Viewing
Join us for an unforgettable brown bear viewing adventure at the renowned “Fortress of the Bears” within the Pack Creek Bear Sanctuary, the premier coastal brown bear viewing area on Admiralty Island. Your day begins with a trip briefing and safety orientation led by your experienced wilderness guide, followed with a breathtaking 25-minute floatplane flight to Pack Creek. Upon landing, you’ll be warmly greeted by the dedicated rangers of Pack Creek. Your guide will then lead you on a journey along the very paths the bears tread, guiding you through shoreline and forest trails to prime brown bear viewing locations. Known as the “Fortress of the Bears,” Admiralty Island holds the Tlingit name Kootznoowoo, and it lives up to its title with an impressive brown bear population of approximately 1,800 brown bears. This island boasts one of the highest bear densities in the world, with roughly one brown bear per square mile. It’s home to about 10% of Alaska’s entire brown bear population, making it one of the most densely populated brown bear areas on the planet. From the banks of Pack Creek, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to observe bears in their natural habitat, whether they’re clamming or foraging on beach greens, salmon fishing in the creek, or enjoying a nap in the tall grass. While we can’t guarantee wildlife sightings, the abundant bear population in the Pack Creek vicinity seldom disappoints. Brown bears are most active during mating season (late May – June) and annual salmon runs (late July – August). We are grateful to the Tlingit village of Angoon for allowing us to share this part of their homeland with our guests. Pack Creek is an ecosystem teeming with diverse flora and fauna, providing abundant nourishment for the thriving brown bear population on Admiralty Island. Eagles soar over Admiralty’s lakes, their calls echoing in harmony with the diverse bird population. This experience is a true gem of Southeast Alaska, offering visitors the chance to closely observe and photograph wildlife in their natural environment. Highlights: * Experience the thrill of viewing brown bears in their natural habitat * Enjoy a scenic float plane flight to Admiralty Island * Learn about the brown bears of Pack Creek Bear Sanctuary and their unique ecosystem * Capture stunning photos of these amazing creatures
