32 mm round pendant on an 18 inch 925 sterling silver snake chain.
The bold salmon skin is perfectly displayed in this large necklace. Keeping salmon close to your heart.
With each piece, the salmon skin is tanned, dyed and coated with epoxy for a waterproof seal. Due to the nature of the material, each has a unique scale pattern and color, making them a one of a kind. We do not catch the salmon for the sole purpose of using their skin for these products. It is a byproduct of the salmon we catch and otherwise would be discarded. We eat the fish and use the skin to share with the world many stories of salmon.

The narrated drive up the gorgeous Klondike Highway parallels much of the Gold Rush Trail of 1898 where stampeders struggled to climb carrying their ton of goods during winter snows.
