Yukoner Beyond the White Pass Plus Suspension Bridge

On our half-day tour to the Yukon border, follow in the path of the Klondike Gold Rush stampeders of 1898 as you travel up the Klondike Highway, past waterfalls and steep mountains of coastal rainforest. See views of the WP&YR railroad, Brackett Wagon Road, Pitchfork Falls and Moore Creek Bridge. As we cross the 3292 foot summit of the White Pass and the Canadian Border we enter the subarctic alpine tundra of the "Tormented” valley with its crystal blue Summit Lake.  At the Summit, we visit the Welcome to Alaska sign for a photo. We’ll continue on the journey through spectacular scenery in Canada of dramatic lakes and the Northern Boreal forest wilderness. Stand at the shores of Lakes Tutshi and Tagish, encircled by mile-high mountains, and pose at the Yukon Border sign for a great photo-op.  Panoramic wilderness vistas await you. Bonus stop at Yukon Suspension Bridge includes time for bridge crossing and viewing educational displays. The snack bar is available for food purchases and the Yukon gift shop. Modern restrooms (the only ones from Skagway to Carcross!) are included. The Yukon is always our best opportunity to encounter wildlife, so we’ll watch for bears, moose, sheep, goats, and more! Experience part of the true wilderness of northern Canada on this Half Day excursion

Juneau Helicopter Pilot's Choice Tour

Moments after departing the heli-base, you will enjoy a breathtaking view only seen by few. Your flight takes you over ice spires, deep blue crevasses, and meltwater pools. After arriving at the heliport, you will be outfitted in glacier boots and given a safety briefing by our friendly tour attendants. Your pilot will choose two different glacier landings among the 36 named glaciers stretched across 1,500 square miles of the Juneau Icefield; a few landing possibilities include the Herbert, Taku, Norris, Gilkey, Hole in the Wall or the famous Mendenhall Glacier. Moments after departing the heli-base, you will enjoy a breathtaking view only seen by few. Your flight takes you over ice spires, deep blue crevasses, and meltwater pools. With approximately 50 minutes of helicopter time you will have plenty of opportunities to take in views of steep alpine ridges, lush rainforest, and the incredible glaciers below. For an up-close opportunity to appreciate this ancient landscape, your pilot will land in two different locations, where you will continue the tour on foot for approximately 15 minutes at each location. You will have the opportunity to explore and take photographs of the stunning untouched landscape. Once on the ice, your pilot will escort you on an informative walk on the glacier’s surface while describing the magnificent area that surrounds you. The Pilot’s Choice tour is an incomparable dynamic journey of discovery, a once-in-a-lifetime experience sure to provide enduring memories of Southeast Alaska. This tour enables you to see the most remote and ancient peaks and glaciers in the Juneau Icefields. Your pilot will be your guide for two different helicopter landings, so you can have a unique and personalized experience. This tour offers reduced passenger capacity and a flexible flight itinerary making this tour the pinnacle of flightseeing tours. With two different glacier landings and the pilot as your guide, this tour is a one-of-a-kind experience!

Half-Day Denali Survival Tour

Learn how to survive in the Denali wilderness! Tour Duration: 4 Hours What comes to mind when you think of Alaska? Is it gift shops, boardwalks, and buses? Or is it the rugged mountains, rugged people, and tragic stories of survival - like that of Chris McCandless in Into the Wild? If you answered yes to the last question, you’re just like me. And this tour is just for you. We created this tour to bridge the gap between those who want to learn more about surviving in the wild and those who want to spend thousands of dollars and take a week-long course in the wilderness. This tour is the perfect 4 hour introduction to survival in Denali. You'll learn what to do in the first 5 days of a survival situation. You'll learn how pick a good shelter location - and how to build that shelter. You'll learn how to make a fire with nothing but a shoelace and some sticks. You'll learn how to use edible and medicinal plants. And so much more. We'll pick you up from your hotel, take you to an area of boreal forest just outside of Denali National Park, and start hiking! As you hike, you'll be treated to wild edible plants and berries. Your guide will stop along the way to teach you a whole host of useful survival skills. You might wonder how we pack all of that into 4 hours. We got an expert with nearly a decade of experience teaching primitive survival to create this program for us. And remember - If you book this tour and decide it's not for you later on, you can cancel with a full refund until 24 hours before your departure! And if the tour doesn't meet you expectations, you get a full refund + $100 towards your next tour in Alaska.
