Inspired by the things I am blessed to see every day living in remote eastern interior Alaska, the forest provides all the materials and ideas that I am lucky to share with you. I started carving out of curiosity and ended up being pretty good at it and loved it! Eventually, I experimented outward and started dabbling in jewelry making, painting, etc. just for fun, but people who saw my work often asked, "Are you selling these? I want to buy!" So, I finally took the leap and turned my hobby into a business in the hopes that the rest of the world will find a unique treasure in what I love to do. In addition to my online Etsy store, you can find Caribou Trails’ items in Alaska at The Santa Claus House in North Pole, The Magic of Christmas in Talkeetna, The Alaskan Christmas Store in Skagway, and in the Anchorage International Airport at Aurora Artistry(B Concourse) and North Terminal Storefront (for our military service personnel). My work is permited for the "Made in Alaska" program and offering products that are certified 100% Alaskan made items!
