**For your convenience, we arrange for a shuttle pick up directly at your cruise ship or downtown hotel for your whale watching adventure! The shuttle will contact you via your main contact number provided on the day of your tour. You will know the exact location of pick-up along with shuttle color and number.

This is a private tour with group rate. Group rate is for up to 6 people. Boat holds up to 11 guests. Each person over 6 (so 7th to 11th person) is an additional $210 pp.
About Us
Alaska Sea to Shore is owned and operated by a local Juneau family, Renee and Winston Warr and their daughter Athena. Their love for Alaska and all things wild will become apparent the minute you walk onto their boat. They are dedicated to providing guests with an authentic and educational Alaskan experience. They have worked on boats running eco-tours in Alaska, Baja, Hawaii, and the Pacific NW but have called Southeast Alaska their home for the last 18 years.
At Alaska Sea to Shore we have a strong desire to offer a unique and exclusive experience to travelers that they can’t find anywhere else. Our boat is specifically designed to take you ashore so you can explore the islands and coastline of Southeast Alaska. When you join us on one of our adventures you will not only soak up the beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife but you will also get our local knowledge, passion, and love for this place we are so lucky to call home.
We want you to feel like you are on your own boat with friends!
Cancellation Policy
Payment is taken in full at the time of your booking and reservations in advance are recommended as tour space is limited. If you need to cancel your reservation please contact us. Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund if you cancel up to 2 weeks before your tour date. If you cancel within 14 days or do not show up for your scheduled tour, there is no refund. Refunds are generally processed immediately and take about 7-10 business days.

Norris Adventure: Seaplane, Paddle & Glacier Hike
Experience 3 iconic Alaskan adventures—flightseeing, glacier hiking, and packrafting—all in just 5 hours! This is Juneau’s first multi-sport adventure of this kind. Packrafting is one of the fastest growing sports in Alaska. This Packraft adventure begins with boarding a six-passenger floatplane and taking off from the water. The scenic flight will head towards the mouth of the Taku Inlet, a gateway to flowing glaciers of the Juneau icefield. Keep an eye out for mountain goats, black bears and moose along the way. After landing on the Norris Glacier fed lake, hike over the glacially carved terrain to a cove where your packraft awaits. From here, you will be outfitted in single person packrafts and introduced paddling techniques by your guides. Once you launch your packraft, your paddle to the glacier will take you past icebergs, all while taking in the stunning mountain and glacier landscapes around you. As you approach the glacier, prepare to beach your boat right on the Norris Glacier, your guide will assist you in getting out of your packraft and into micro-spikes. Explore the moonscape-like area of the glacier all by foot and get panoramic views of Norris and Taku glaciers. Look for crevasses, glacier pools, moulins, and other incredible ice features. Glacier features come and go throughout the season, just like the ebb and flow of our glaciers. Upon completion of your glacier hike, slide back into your packraft and paddle back to shore. Six Passenger Whale Watch Charter
Aboard our 6 passenger whale-watching boats, enjoy a comfortable heated cabin with wide-viewing windows and spacious decks for wildlife spotting. Meet us at the convenient, central pick-up location in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway to find your bus, check in with one of our Dock Representatives holding a "Juneau Tours or Juneau Whale Watch" sign, sporting a smile and wearing a bright blue hat. On your way to the boat harbor, listen to informative commentary from your driver about the capital city of Juneau. 5 minute photo stop on the water of the magestic Mendenhall Glacier. Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer
Travel by deluxe jetboat to explore the very best of the Tracy Arm Wilderness Area, including exciting close-up views of the majestic Sawyer Glaciers. Relax in the warm, spacious cabin as your experienced captain guides you through scenic passages and into the heart of a wild place that has, until recently, been buried for centuries by glacial ice. Here, the extraordinary maneuverability of the Katlian Express will allow you to glide quietly past curious seals and icebergs – to get as close as possible to the ever-changing face of South Sawyer Glacier. Be sure to spend as much time as possible on the topside observation deck where you can enjoy this unforgettable experience with all your senses. At times, you can even feel the “white thunder” as immense spires of ice break from the glacier and crash into the sea. Before departing the ice pack you will also view beautiful North Sawyer Glacier, which cannot be approached by large cruise ships. While exploring the length of this ice-carved fjord you will cruise beneath cliffs that rise 4000-feet above the jade-colored sea, and you can even feel the mist on your face as the vessel glides near a plunging waterfall. We run heli-fishing trips on multiple rivers throughout Southcentral Alaska, which is easily accessible from the Anchorage area. This is an opportunity to get out to nature, with no one else nearby and quickly start casting your fly in our amazing Alaskan tributaries, which are flowing with fish!
