About us
Alaska Sea to Shore is owned and operated by a local Juneau family, Renee and Winston Warr and their daughter Athena. Their love for Alaska and all things wild will become apparent the minute you walk onto their boat. They are dedicated to providing guests with an authentic and educational Alaskan experience. They have worked on boats running eco-tours in Alaska, Baja, Hawaii, and the Pacific NW but have called Southeast Alaska their home for the last 18 years.
At Alaska Sea to Shore we have a strong desire to offer a unique and exclusive experience to travelers that they can’t find anywhere else. Our boat is specifically designed to take you ashore so you can explore the islands and coastline of Southeast Alaska. When you join us on one of our adventures you will not only soak up the beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife but you will also get our local knowledge, passion, and love for this place we are so lucky to call home.

What we'll do
Meet captain Winston aboard our Motor Vessel the Athena Rose for a truly Alaskan experience on the water. You'll set out to explore the islands around Auke Bay north of Juneau, Alaska, surrounded by pristine mountain views. Keep an eye out for an abundance of wildlife found in these waters - eagles soaring, humpbacks breaching or seals and sea lions playing! Circle the islands, learning about the lighthouses and stunning landscape you see. Top off the trip with a beach landing on an island to comb for treasure, take in the scenery or enjoy a snack!

What to expect / what's provided
*Duration: approx 4 hours
*What to Bring: warm layered clothing, rain jacket, sunglasses, a hat and gloves. For shore landings wear comfortable waterproof boots and footwear
*Personal camera and video devices
*Water bottle and extra snacks. Guests are welcome to bring any food or beverages that they would like onboard
**For your convenience, we arrange for a shuttle pick up directly at your cruise ship or downtown hotel for your whale watching adventure! The shuttle will contact you via your main contact number provided on the day of your tour. You will know the exact location of pick-up along with shuttle color and number.
*Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time.
*Small group size of up to 6 people
*Can add up to 5 additional guests (after 6) for a total group size of up to 11
*Expert guides and naturalist are onboard to add to your experience, adventure & fun!
*Comfortable and spacious with windows and deck for excellent viewing.
*Beach landing for a chance to step into the wilderness.
*Bathroom facilities are available onboard.
*Life jackets and binoculars onboard.

This is a private tour with group rate. Group rate is for up to 6 people. Boat holds up to 11 guests. Each person over 6 (so 7th to 11th person) is an additional $210 pp.

Cancellation Policy
Payment is taken in full at the time of your booking and reservations in advance are recommended as tour space is limited. If you need to cancel your reservation please contact us. Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund if you cancel up to 2 weeks before your tour date. If you cancel within 14 days or do not show up for your scheduled tour, there is no refund. Refunds are generally processed immediately and take about 7-10 business days.
