About us

Sitka’s best shore trip has been thrilling visitors since 2001 with experienced and knowledgeable tour guides that aim to please. Our staff uses wireless microphones so everyone can hear well. We provide tours in small groups (6-10 guests) from the comfort of our clean, safe tour vehicles.

Sitka Wildlife Tours provides some of the best tours of Sitka, Alaska, including whale watching tours, land tours, and private and custom tours.

We are a family-owned and -operated business founded in 2001 by Sitka residents and Alaska natives, Bruce, and Rhonda Conine. Their inspiration came while on a cruise to Jamaica. Their guide showed them such a good time on their shore excursion, and they knew they could do the same in Sitka! They started Sitka Wildlife Tours the next summer, providing group and family tours in Sitka, Alaska, and have been sharing their love for Sitka ever since.

Rhonda and Bruce meet and greet every guest as you arrive at the tour departure point.

Our local tour guides love where they live and love to share their experiences and stories of historic and beautiful Sitka as they take you on a small group tour of the town. It is an honor to take you on a tour of the amazing community of Sitka, and we look forward to making Sitka the best stop on your amazing Alaska cruise!

We have lived in Sitka for over 40 years. We consider Sitka our own personal slice of paradise! We would be honored to show you our amazing city of Sitka, Alaska!
