Allen Marine Tours is a family-owned business, and one of the oldest tour companies in Alaska. We have been cruising the pristine waters of the Inside Passage for over 45 years. We currently operate vessels from the ports of Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka. All of our day-cruises are thoughtfully designed to provide our guests with the best means possible to view and learn about the wilderness and wildlife of Southeast Alaska, and provide insight into the human history & cultures of the people who live here.
The vessels we operate were custom built in our own shipyard in Sitka, and our unmatched experience is evident in every design. Features common to all vessels include spacious and comfortable passenger accommodations, wrap-around windows and expansive open-air observation decks. Most of our fleet is made up of high-performance, waterjet-powered catamarans, preferred by all who ride them for their speed, smooth ride and superior maneuverability.

Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer
Travel by deluxe jetboat to explore the very best of the Tracy Arm Wilderness Area, including exciting close-up views of the majestic Sawyer Glaciers. Relax in the warm, spacious cabin as your experienced captain guides you through scenic passages and into the heart of a wild place that has, until recently, been buried for centuries by glacial ice. Here, the extraordinary maneuverability of the Katlian Express will allow you to glide quietly past curious seals and icebergs – to get as close as possible to the ever-changing face of South Sawyer Glacier. Be sure to spend as much time as possible on the topside observation deck where you can enjoy this unforgettable experience with all your senses. At times, you can even feel the “white thunder” as immense spires of ice break from the glacier and crash into the sea. Before departing the ice pack you will also view beautiful North Sawyer Glacier, which cannot be approached by large cruise ships. Mountain Lakes Tour
This 30-minute flight gives passengers a view of the pristine Tongass National Forest of Southeast Alaska. This temperate rainforest provides opportunities for mountain goat and black bear sightings. The flight rounds five gorgeous lakes that are only accessible via hiking. So if you are only visiting for a short while this tour is for you. Half Day Fishing Excursion
Halibut, Lingcod, Rockfish, sharks and more are reeled up everyday on this trip based out Ketchikan Alaska! The area has been managed by the U.S. Forest Service continuously since it became a wilderness area in 1978. Your pilot will call your attention to any spectacular Alaskan wildlife often seen in the monument and the Tongass National Forest. Sightings may include brown and black bears, mountain goats, bald eagles, orcas, and humpback whales. On the occasion that wildlife is close by, photo opportunities will be afforded right from the floats of the plane! The Amenities: You’ll be able to learn all about the magnificent Misty Fjords through the live narration and conversation with your pilot. Cook Your Catch Wilderness Dining
This is a bottom fish excursion where you will be fishing at depths of 100-300 feet for Rockfish and Cod. The excursion is operated in a 23ft open air skiff that accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers. After fishing for 3-4 hours, your party will arrive at our remote campsite where you will have a meal featuring your catch of the day. Guests are also served our delicious blueberry-rhubarb bread pudding for dessert, which is also prepared at camp. We provide tea, coffee, water sodas, a covered area to relax and iconic campfires. Our private campsite allows you to explore Ketchikan’s old growth forest and rocky beaches before and after your meal, giving you the chance to soak in the beauty of Alaska’s wilderness. Our culinary adventures give you a taste of all we have to offer. Enjoy a genuine Alaskan tradition as you have your catch prepared for you by our chef on a wilderness beach, at sea, or at a private table at the Alaska Fish House. 1) Cook Your Catch: Wilderness Dining Baranof Excursions has a remote campsite on a wilderness beach south of Ketchikan, ready for your arrival with your fresh-caught fish. Pull up with your guide in one of our boats, and step ashore to meet our campsite host. In just a few short minutes, we’ll quickly cook up a fresh bouillabaisse featuring your catch for you to enjoy in the comfort of a crackling beach fire, accompanied by beautiful views of the rainforest and the wild, rocky shoreline of our private beach. 2) Cook Your Catch: Private Dining At The Alaska Fish House On arrival back to town, our guides will lay out your fish at our fish cleaning station and help you determine which fish you want to eat and how to prepare it to best meet your culinary desires. Once you’ve made your choice, we’ll run your fresh catch-up to our chefs in the Alaska Fish House. By the time, you’re done taking your raingear off, washing your hands, and getting back into your civilian clothes, we’ll have a private table ready for you in our rustic-style dining room, and an expertly prepared meal on its way. Once you’ve settled at your table, enjoy a cold, Alaskan-brewed Denali beer or a glass of wine to accompany your meal and give yourself the chance to relax into an authentic Southeast Alaskan dining experience.
