Motion Sickness: While there is no open ocean swell in the Juneau area, persons sensitive to motion sickness may wish to take medication at least one hour prior to the tour departure time.
Tour Minimums: Tours do need to hit a minimum capacity to run. We will contact guests 48 hours in advance if tour has not reached the minimum.
Participation Requirements
Age Restrictions: We welcome guests of all ages onboard! While there is no charge for children two years old & younger, all guests must have a ticket due to coast guard regulations.
Accessibility: Select departures can accommodate persons using a manual wheelchair. Call our office before booking for details.
Cancellation Policy: A $10/person processing fee will be charged for cancellations made after the booking is confirmed. No refund will be made for cancellations made less than 48-hours prior to tour departure. If the tour is cancelled by the operator for any reason, the customer will receive a full refund.

Allen Marine Tours is a family-owned business, and one of the oldest tour companies in Alaska. We have been cruising the pristine waters of the Inside Passage for over 45 years. We currently operate vessels from the ports of Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka. All of our day-cruises are thoughtfully designed to provide our guests with the best means possible to view and learn about the wilderness and wildlife of Southeast Alaska, and provide insight into the human history & cultures of the people who live here.
The vessels we operate were custom built in our own shipyard in Sitka, and our unmatched experience is evident in every design. Features common to all vessels include spacious and comfortable passenger accommodations, wrap-around windows and expansive open-air observation decks. Most of our fleet is made up of high-performance, waterjet-powered catamarans, preferred by all who ride them for their speed, smooth ride and superior maneuverability.

Experience 3 iconic Alaskan adventures—flightseeing, glacier hiking, and packrafting—all in just 5 hours! This is Juneau’s first multi-sport adventure of this kind. Packrafting is one of the fastest growing sports in Alaska. This Packraft adventure begins with boarding a six-passenger floatplane and taking off from the water. The scenic flight will head towards the mouth of the Taku Inlet, a gateway to flowing glaciers of the Juneau icefield. Keep an eye out for mountain goats, black bears and moose along the way. After landing on the Norris Glacier fed lake, hike over the glacially carved terrain to a cove where your packraft awaits. From here, you will be outfitted in single person packrafts and introduced paddling techniques by your guides. Once you launch your packraft, your paddle to the glacier will take you past icebergs, all while taking in the stunning mountain and glacier landscapes around you. As you approach the glacier, prepare to beach your boat right on the Norris Glacier, your guide will assist you in getting out of your packraft and into micro-spikes. Explore the moonscape-like area of the glacier all by foot and get panoramic views of Norris and Taku glaciers. Look for crevasses, glacier pools, moulins, and other incredible ice features. Glacier features come and go throughout the season, just like the ebb and flow of our glaciers. Upon completion of your glacier hike, slide back into your packraft and paddle back to shore. You are more than welcome to bring personal items on any of our tours (Camera, reusable water bottle, food, layers, etc.).

Aboard our 6 passenger whale-watching boats, enjoy a comfortable heated cabin with wide-viewing windows and spacious decks for wildlife spotting. Meet us at the convenient, central pick-up location in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway to find your bus, check in with one of our Dock Representatives holding a "Juneau Tours or Juneau Whale Watch" sign, sporting a smile and wearing a bright blue hat. Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer
Travel by deluxe jetboat to explore the very best of the Tracy Arm Wilderness Area, including exciting close-up views of the majestic Sawyer Glaciers. Relax in the warm, spacious cabin as your experienced captain guides you through scenic passages and into the heart of a wild place that has, until recently, been buried for centuries by glacial ice. Here, the extraordinary maneuverability of the Katlian Express will allow you to glide quietly past curious seals and icebergs – to get as close as possible to the ever-changing face of South Sawyer Glacier. Be sure to spend as much time as possible on the topside observation deck where you can enjoy this unforgettable experience with all your senses. At times, you can even feel the “white thunder” as immense spires of ice break from the glacier and crash into the sea. Before departing the ice pack you will also view beautiful North Sawyer Glacier, which cannot be approached by large cruise ships. While exploring the length of this ice-carved fjord you will cruise beneath cliffs that rise 4000-feet above the jade-colored sea, and you can even feel the mist on your face as the vessel glides near a plunging waterfall.
