- What kinds of animals will we see?
The AWCC is home to a large variety of brown bears, black bears, moose, caribou, wolves, musk ox, lynx, and wood bison. You might see many or most of these when you visit.
- Will there be a lot of walking?
The tour does not require much walking. Most times our guests choose to walk and stretch their legs so they can get closer to view the animals. The van is always available. In case of inclement weather, it’s always possible to jump in and out of the van.
- What's the weather like? What should I wear?
Expect temperatures ranging from the mid 50’s to the mid 70’s F (10 - 25 C), or warmer. Dress in layers and always prepare for rain and wind. There is plenty of room in our vans to bring an extra jacket and hat. It’s always advisable to wear sunglasses and bring along sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Can you accommodate guests with limited mobility?
We have and are able to successfully accommodate guests with reduced mobility and/or who require much assistance walking (walkers, canes, etc.). However, our fleet is not equipped to accommodate those who are wheelchair-bound. Please note that some of the stops along the tour are not paved.
*I’m traveling solo – can I go on your tour(s)?
At 907 Tours we have many independent travelers join our tours. However, all of our tours have a two-guest minimum. If a tour already has at least 2 guests then yes, you can book a single ticket via the 907tours website. If a tour doesn’t yet have 2 guests, we can put you on a stand-by list and let you know no later than 24 hours in advance whether or not the tour is happening

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel within 24 hours of your tour and receive a full refund. For cancellations inside of 24 hours, no refund applies. Exceptions will be made for guests experiencing Covid-19 symptoms the morning of the tour. If you do decide to cancel, please do so as far in advance as possible. If you need to change your plans, you may reschedule any existing reservation with us at no charge, provided you travel within 24 months of your original tour date. Even if our tour prices increase, your price stays the same!

Cruise Ship Tour and Transfer: Anchorage to Whittier
The smarter way to travel from Anchorage to the Whittier Cruise Ship Terminal! This full-day tour from Anchorage includes a local guide, an aerial tram ride up Mt. Alyeska, a tour of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, lunch at a local eatery, a drive down Portage Valley and through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, drop off at the Whittier Cruise Ship Terminal, and scenic photo-stops along the way! Following your pick up at your hotel or the Salmon Berry office in downtown Anchorage, sit back with your luggage secured in our comfortable and clean sprinter vans as your Alaskan driver guides you down Turnagain Arm, an All-American Road and National Scenic Byway. Look out for alpine scenery, hanging glaciers, and potential wildlife! Visit the quaint town of Girdwood and a favorite local eatery for lunch (provided). After lunch ascends up the side of Mt.
