Astaxanthin is a carotenoid that comes from microalgae . Their concentration is increased when there is any environmental stressors. Animals that eat the microorganisms, turn pinkish in color like flamingos ! Purified astaxanthin has a pinkish color as well. Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin against environmental stress. Astaxanthin is up to 6000 times more powerful a antioxidant as vitamin C and 500 times more powerful than vitamin E! Astaxanthin helps improve skin glow and reduce redness as well as help prevent premature aged look of skin. Our astaxanthin comes in microspheres for easy absorption by the skin and better efficacy.

Water, cucurbita pepo ( pumpkin) seed oil, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, Equisetum arvense ( horsetail) extract, astaxanthin, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, tocopherol, glycine soja (soy) oil, citric acid, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, ammoniumacryloyldimethiltaurate/VP copolymer, hydrolyzed corn starch octenylsuccinate, hydrated silica, diisostearyl malate, Mica, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, iron oxide, fragrance.
