The Journey of the mahogany beaver set

The mahogany beaver fur was ethically sourced by my friend, an Alaskan Native, she does her own trapping and hunting for her business, Deniana Designs, specializing in parkas, moccasins, and more, selecting from her quality fur scraps is when the design process began

I visioned a design that was runway worthy that incorporated both the spirit of Alaska, the gentle Hawaiian vibe, and my aloha.

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Councill chose this piece to curate in their gallery.

When they called upon to donate a one of a kind design for their auction fundraiser ( The Wearable Art Fashion Show) I donated the set. Allowing the journey and my initial vision for the set to come to fruition.

The mahogany beaver set was auctioned at nearly $700.00. They continue their journey to Russia with its new owner.

One of my most gratifying rewards is seeing who my one of a kind designs were made for.

This bold and beautiful mahogany beaver 5 piece set features six 2" dentalium,

35 millimeter abalone on bracelet, ring , and earrings. and 40 millimeters abalone on versatile pendant. all set on luxurious, rare mahogany beaver.

The interchangeable pendant allows wearer to change according to their desired evening vibe.

This piece comes with a certificate of authentication with my promise of it's exclusivity as a one-of-a- kind design.
