Description
Our Merino Wool Lined Headband features a lining fabric that is 100% merino wool, and an exterior fabric that is recycled polyester printed works of art. The wool next to skin is great for keeping your ears warm and your hair back in cold and wet/cold conditions. It can be folded in half to function as a hairband as you heat up! Surprisingly warm for such a small package. Layers well under a helmet, and packs small.
This is an official Made in Alaska product! Our products are made by us in our Anchorage, Alaska workshop.
Made in Alaska, Made in USA
Fabric
Our prints pop on our Re-Trace™ recycled poly exterior fabric that is made from recycled fiber which is wicking and quick-drying. The lining made from 100% Merino wool is lightweight and breathable, but soft and warm enough to keep you cozy from the early chills of fall through the frigid temps of winter. Merino wool is naturally odor-resistant and a great natural fiber option. Our wool is ethically produced from non-mulesed merino wool sheep.
Fit
Snug enough to cover your ears but comfortable to wear all day long. 3.75" x 19" circumference plus stretch! Fits easily under helmets, fits a wide range of head sizes well.

Juneau Whale Watching and Mendenhall Glacier Combo Tour
This is an enthralling opportunity to witness two jewels in Juneau - the graceful elegance of humpback whales and the serene beauty of the Mendenhall Glacier. Our fleet of whale watching boats and glacier shuttles offer a seamless combination of two of Juneau’s favorite activities and our most popular tour. Upon check in, you will either be escorted to one of our shuttles for a narrated 25-minute drive to the glacier or to the boat harbor for whale watching. Mendenhall is the world’s only drive up glacier. You can choose to hike to Nugget Falls (1.5 hours round trip), take the Photo Point Trail (40 minutes round trip), look for wildlife along the Steep Creek trail, or stroll up the easy walk to the Visitor Center. During your time on the water, you will be accompanied by a naturalist who explains the feeding habits of these magnificent creatures and identifies the many other kinds of wildlife that share these waters. Our whale watching boats are custom made to enhance your experience – a warm heated cabin with large viewing windows, and two decks to hurry to when the captain slows after spotting the whales. A bathroom is onboard.

Cruise Ship Tour and Transfer: Anchorage to Seward
The smarter way to travel from Anchorage to Seward! This full-day tour from Anchorage includes a local guide, an aerial tram ride up Mt. Alyeska, a tour of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, lunch at a local eatery, a nature walk to views of Exit Glacier, drop off at the Seward Cruise Ship Terminal or your Seward hotel, and scenic photo-stops along the way! Following your pick-up at your hotel or the Salmon Berry office in downtown Anchorage, sit back with your luggage secured in our comfortable and clean sprinter vans as your Alaskan driver guides you down Turnagain Arm, an All-American Road, and National Scenic Byway. Look out for alpine scenery, hanging glaciers, and potential wildlife! Visit the quaint town of Girdwood and a favorite local eatery for lunch (provided). After lunch, ascend the side of Mt. Alyeska on an aerial tram. From the top (weather permitting), take in views of several glaciers and the upper reaches of a temperate rainforest. Next, visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a 200-acre natural habitat that provides wildlife education and rehabilitation for some of Alaska’s favorite animals! This is Alaska’s only guaranteed wildlife viewing! Get close enough to observe and photograph some of our favorite land animals, such as moose, reindeer, bison, wolves, and more! While we cannot guarantee bears due to their habitat size, it is common to see both brown and black bears at the Conservation Center! Make sure to take photos of wildlife with the amazing backdrop of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm! Continuing southbound along the Seward Highway, travel down Exit Glacier Road for a leisurely nature walk for views of Kenai Fjords National Park’s famous Exit Glacier! Upon arrival in Seward, you’ll be transferred directly to the Cruise Ship Terminal, where you will be helped offload your luggage or dropped off at your hotel. Complimentary snacks and water are provided throughout your tour.
