What We Will Do

See Alaska like never before!

Standard tour is an hour long ride, single passenger (along with small children if present) with a guide driving the team.

Enjoy views of the Talkeetna and Alaskan Range while traveling in a sled behind 8 adorable Alaskan huskies.

We do switch-outs with passengers (for groups with more than 1 passenger) along the trail and will provide a warm fire and snacks while your friends wait their turn to ride.

Spectators will get to see their group and the dogs pass by while they wait; there's not much standing around as the ride with the team will be around 30 minutes for each guest.

For any additional questions about your booking, please get in touch!

DZT Canopy Adventure Tour

This Denali Zipline Tour is a World-Class Eco Adventure! Experience exciting ziplines, suspension bridges, a rappel, and a spiral staircase on this thrilling Denali zipline tour! Your zipline adventure begins at our office in downtown Talkeetna. Check-in with our friendly local staff and board the DZT shuttle for a scenic three-mile drive to the forested ridges above the mighty Susitna River Valley. Upon arrival at our course, you will meet your certified guides and get outfitted in top-quality gear. Then you head for “zipline ground school” to receive a basic orientation. The pace of the three-hour tour is varied, mixing speed and excitement as you zip through the beautiful northern boreal forest, with time to pause and gaze out from viewing platforms and along walks across the long aerial bridges that take in Denali and the expanse of the Alaska Range. Your guides will share Denali zipline tour educational moments about the boreal forest and topographical features including ridges, ravines, kettle ponds, and the braided Chulitna and Susitna valleys. The history of Talkeetna runs deep and includes flying and mountaineering in the Alaska Range, gold mining, and the quirky local characters. Each guide has its own personal story and who knows what Alaskan tidbits you will be treated to?! There will be numerous opportunities to glimpse the mountain vistas from the zipline, viewing platforms, and suspended sky bridges, allowing ample time for picture taking. We also offer a Photo Package – ask us about it! The final and longest zip of the tour will span close to 600 feet – with most of the ride suspended over our “Reflection Pond” – landing on the final platform six feet off the ground with an easy stair exit and a short drive back to downtown Talkeetna.

2 Hour Talkeetna Float Trip

Few places in the world can equal the scale and beauty of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range. On this two-hour narrated Talkeetna River Natural History Float Trip, you will see spectacular vistas of this magnificent scenery. Explore the lower end of the famous Talkeetna River, which is steeped in history and the Alaskan pioneering spirit. You will participate in a brief safety lecture at the river's edge before launching and floating down six to eight miles of pristine river. The Talkeetna River is a glacier-fed waterway teeming with salmon and other wildlife. Our guides are versed in describing the flora, fauna, and scenery along the way. We will look for bears, eagles, fish, beavers, moose, fox, and waterfowl during this float. We will stop to visit two active Bald Eagles’ nests, see beaver dams, look for bear tracks, and float past an old miner’s cabin… all before joining the mighty Susitna River for the loop back to Talkeetna. On the Susitna River, there is a stunning view of Mt. McKinley (20, 320′) and the entire Alaska Range. On clear days, the view is amazing. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos! For a small additional fee, we have a photographer available to take pictures of you, the raft, and your guide – with a stunning backdrop of Mt. McKinley!

The raft launch is at mile 133 of the Parks Highway. Your trip will begin here or in Talkeetna, depending upon where you are staying. We provide complimentary transportation from Talkeetna. At the river’s edge, you will participate in a brief safety lecture and demonstration before launching and floating the nineteen miles of the glacial-fed Chulitna back to Talkeetna. Almost throughout the entire length of the trip, a stunning view of Mt. McKinley (20,320′) and the entire Alaska Range provide a spectacular backdrop. This remote portion of the Chulitna River is a prime Bald Eagle, bear, salmon, and moose habitat. On clear days, the view is unparalleled for photo opportunities.
