Grizzly Falls Ziplining Expedition
Come take an adrenaline-filled tour of Alaska! After the scenic bus ride up to Dyea, you will board our giant 4x4 military vehicle for an exciting ride up the mountain to our zipline camp. You will then meet your skilled guide who will suit you up in safety gear and prepare you to fly through the forest. Get ready to soar like an eagle through our epic course of 10 ziplines and 4 suspension bridges with breathtaking scenery abounding! Hop back on the bus for a calm ride back to town. It all begins at your cruise dock where you meet your guide. From there, enjoy an entertaining and historic tour through downtown Skagway then drive along nine miles of stunning coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, you will transfer into our customized Unimog—an all-wheel drive vehicle necessary for getting up our rugged mountain road. At the top of the mountain, you will divide into groups of 8 and suit up in gear that meets the highest standards of safety while your highly trained guide tells you what to expect and how to safely navigate the course. You will then be led to the take-off zone, where you’ll clip in and fly away! You’ll soar through our exhilarating course of 8-10 zip lines; the longest measuring 750ft—that’s longer than 2 football fields combined! Additionally, don’t miss out on snapping pictures on our four state-of-the-art suspension bridges in the heart of Alaska's wild beauty. After completing the course, relax on the scenic drive back to town to wrap up a day of adventuring in the wilderness. Rainforest Zip, Skybridge & Rappel Adventure
Plan to fly through the Ketchikan rainforest on this tree top zipline adventure. This course is designed for people who are looking for an adrenaline rush, love ziplining, or want to step up to new challenges like skybridge suspension bridges and rappelling. Imagine yourself gliding through the top of a rich rainforest canopy along a series of eight cable zip lines. You’ll be zipping along the border of the magnificent Tongass National Forest, navigating three aerial bridges suspended among spruce, hemlock and cedar trees. This Ketchikan rainforest reserve is home to one of Alaska’s richest salmon spawning streams and a pristine inter-tidal estuary. The area is a rainforest sanctuary, home to a high concentration of bald eagles, black bear, and a variety of other species. Here’s how you’ll ride, glide, and rappel along the way. The tour starts at the downtown dock with an eight-mile narrated coastal drive to Herring Cove. An all-terrain custom 4×4 Unimog will pick you up at Herring Cove, transporting you up a steep rainforest hillside to the canopy chalet. You’ll meet professionally trained guides who will outfit you with sophisticated safety equipment and give you a detailed orientation prior to zipping from the first platform. Your tree top zipline adventure features a flight over eight ziplines and three suspension bridges, looking out on beautiful nature trails. Your guides will progressively ease you into the forest canopy along cables ranging from a short 100 foot to the 750 foot pulse pounding "Ben’s Revenge”. Throughout this award-winning adventure you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest wildlife reserve. There is so much to see from the tree platforms, including spectacular panoramic views and possible wildlife sightings. You’ll fly over a cascading creek and lush forest, and cross three hanging sky bridges – all giving you breathtaking views of the forest 135 feet below. The final zipline emerges from the rainforest and transports you over lush grassy wetlands to a viewing tower, 55 feet above ground. Here you’ll rappel to the ground and gear-down at the base camp. Stop by the General Store, where you can see the pictures taken during your zipline experience, picking out the ones you’d like to buy and shopping for mementos of your Alaska adventure. Before you head back to the dock have your camera ready as you explore the totem park, historic sawmill, watch blacksmith at work and see an eagle up close at the Alaska Raptor Center exhibit. And off you go, full of awesome memories. DZT Canopy Adventure Tour
This Denali Zipline Tour is a World-Class Eco Adventure! Experience exciting ziplines, suspension bridges, a rappel, and a spiral staircase on this thrilling Denali zipline tour! Your zipline adventure begins at our office in downtown Talkeetna. Check-in with our friendly local staff and board the DZT shuttle for a scenic three-mile drive to the forested ridges above the mighty Susitna River Valley. Upon arrival at our course, you will meet your certified guides and get outfitted in top-quality gear. Then you head for “zipline ground school” to receive a basic orientation. The pace of the three-hour tour is varied, mixing speed and excitement as you zip through the beautiful northern boreal forest, with time to pause and gaze out from viewing platforms and along walks across the long aerial bridges that take in Denali and the expanse of the Alaska Range. Your guides will share Denali zipline tour educational moments about the boreal forest and topographical features including ridges, ravines, kettle ponds, and the braided Chulitna and Susitna valleys. The history of Talkeetna runs deep and includes flying and mountaineering in the Alaska Range, gold mining, and the quirky local characters. Each guide has its own personal story and who knows what Alaskan tidbits you will be treated to?! There will be numerous opportunities to glimpse the mountain vistas from the zipline, viewing platforms, and suspended sky bridges, allowing ample time for picture taking. We also offer a Photo Package – ask us about it! The final and longest zip of the tour will span close to 600 feet – with most of the ride suspended over our “Reflection Pond” – landing on the final platform six feet off the ground with an easy stair exit and a short drive back to downtown Talkeetna.
Adventure Park & Zipline Tour
In this amazing excursion, you will walk on raised balance beams, cross exciting suspension bridges, and fly through the air on a series of zip lines! Join our expert guides for the ride of a lifetime! This tour is perfect for all abilities and is fun for the entire family! Your adventure tour begins with a narrated drive through historic downtown Skagway and up the Klondike Highway. From the highway, a short nature hike brings you to the spectacular Adventure Park where expert guides will outfit you with state-of-the-art safety equipment. Then you will be off to enjoy the thrill of the ropes course and zip line experience! First, you will enter into an incredible series of ropes course crossings including Burma loops, suspended bridges, and raised balance beams. Next up is a fantastic series of six zip lines through the lush Alaskan canopy. You will zoom from platform to platform while your friends and family cheer you on! Your heart will be pumping as you get ready for the “Walk the Plank” zip that soars high above the ground through the treetops! This incredible adventure is perfect for all abilities and everyone will enjoy the amazing mountain views and the excitement of effortlessly soaring through the air! Tour Itinerary: (~10 minutes) – Your friendly tour guide will meet you near the Skagway Small Boat harbor sign and restrooms. Here they will take the opportunity to get to know you and provide answers to any questions that you might have about your upcoming excursion. (~20 minutes) – We’ll depart from our meeting point by van for an interpretive driving tour of historic downtown Skagway on our way up the Klondike Highway to our private zip line site on Porcupine Mountain. (~15 minutes) – From our private parking area, a short uphill walk along our forest nature trail will bring us to our base camp. Here, your expert guides will get you outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment including a helmet and waist and chest harnesses. Next, you’ll receive a thorough orientation and safety briefing for your upcoming zipping experience. (~ 60 minutes) – Your guides will start you off in our Adventure Park - 3 high ropes elements that will get you off the ground and confident in your gear. These bridges lead you to our "baby" zip line - an easy intro to the zipping experience! (~ 60 minutes) – Next, your guides will then lead you to the heart of the experience - 5 zip lines through the lush Alaskan canopy! Our zip line course uses a guide-controlled hands-free braking system. So you’ll just be able to sit back and enjoy the ride as you zoom through the trees. (~ 15 minutes) – Our adventure wraps up in our rough-cut timber kiosk for some hot cocoa and trail mix snacks. (~15 minutes) – A short walk back down the nature trail will bring us back to our private parking area. We’ll depart the trail for a scenic ride back through the Skagway Valley and back to town.
Denali Park Zipline Adventure
Experience life above the trees ziplining just outside of Denali National Park! Your Denali zipline adventure tour begins with a three mile trail ride through the scenic Alaskan wilderness. After gearing up, certified guides will lead you along 6 sky bridges and 7 thrilling zip lines, including the dual racer finale! The built-in, hands-free braking system allows you to relax and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. Challenge yourself by traversing to the top of the boreal forest on the uniquely designed Ascending Bridge Tower. Soar through the trees and over the tundra on over half a mile of ziplines. Complete this once in a lifetime experience by racing to the finish zipping along side your friends and family! All safety gear provided – full body harness, helmet, and gloves. Tour length is approximately 3 hours from pick-up to drop-off.
