Brown Sugar-Glazed Salmon

Brown Sugar-Glazed Salmon

Here’s a dish that will satisfy not only the sweet tooth but the craving for delicious Alaska salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 (7-ounce) wild salmon fillets, skin and pin bones removed
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, optional
  • Preheat your over to 400 degrees Fahrenheit

Instructions

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar. Whisk until combined. Set aside to cool.

Place the fillets skinned-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Brush the butter mixture over the fillets and pour the remaining glaze over them. Top with pecans. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Transfer to warm dinner plates and serve right away.

Expect a silent dinner as your guests savor the flavors.
