Alaska Hummer Adventures is an independent, family owned and operated company that has been guiding tourists off the beaten path in style and comfort through the temperate rainforest of Southeast Alaska since 2004.
The founders identified the need for a more personalized, custom touring option based on the individual needs of small groups. Their own travel experiences as a family of five with young children inspired them to create this private, custom, affordable adventure service they call "Touring in Rugged Luxury.”
Their vision came to fruition as the company began operations in 2004 with one Hummer H2, and continued expansion with a fleet of five Hummers. In 2015, they took this concept to the water adding "Hummer of the sea” adventures including Expedition Black Bear, Saltwater Expedition, and Misty Fjords Expedition. Alaska Hummer Adventures is proud to be an innovator in bringing the true Alaskan lifestyle to so many of our guests worldwide.
