This is truly an original work of art! Enjoy this exceptionally rare and beautiful fossilized woolly mammoth tusk tip with handmade pine wood base.
The tip is fully preserved in it's natural form and showcases some of the nicest brown hues you will find in fossilized woolly mammoth ivory centuries old.
Prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory is a beautiful and naturally-preserved remnant from the last ice age. While mammoths roamed most of North America, their tusks are being unearthed today in Alaska, the Yukon, and Siberia, where they were preserved in the permafrost for up to 200,000 years.
Measures 18 inches wide by 12 inches tall.
Genuine, authentic, and one-of-a-kind.
